ChildLover (pedophile) arrested for raping 17yr old girl in Niger state

A 40-year-old man in Niger state, Haruna Mohammed, has been arrested by the police for allegedly raping a 17-year-old girl.

According to Punch, Mohammed dragged the girl into Maje market and raped her. It is reported the incident occurred in March 2017. The girl was on her way back from an errand when she was raped.

The teenager is now pregnant. When her parents asked her who was responsible she mentioned Haruna Mohammed who raped her months earlier.

Haruna Mohammed has spoken about the accusation. "I don’t even know what pushed me to have sexual intercourse with little girls forcefully; each time I stopped, something will push me to do it again.

“It never occurred to me that one day, police operatives will apprehend me. Now, it is clear to me that what I did was wrong and this is why the law is taking its course".

The Public Relations Officer of the Niger state command Comfort Olawumi said investigations have been concluded and the suspect was arraigned in court.
